the exams are finally finally over! thankful :) the last paper was practically "what!?" in nature. mcqs with up to 8 choices, being worth 4 marks. wow. the wrong alphabet costs u 4 marks! sadly. and for once, the bio paper is one without any choices abt what qns u want to do. which is in one word-- bad. bleah. and weird paper it was, requiring u to draw diagrams for most of the questions, unlike the usual vomiting of most facts. so unfortunately or not, i finished the paper with approx 1 hr extra which is a lot, considering that i even had the patience to wait for the patches of liquid paper to dry up while i gently blew at it.. :P pray hard!
i wish tt i didnt have long breaks before exams as they are generally unproductive.. and i end up engaging in activities which i normally wont even bother to do. eg 1 intensive reading of the news articles even if it isnt exactly relevant to me (polls blah). eg 2 watching the match btwn chelsea and manutd. which was heartbreaking. but i guess im less attached to football now tt im busier but my sis is the patient one digesting every bit of football news she can find and broadcasting it to me. argh. that was e idiotiest match i ever watched. i dont want them to win but i guess they were gd to some extent. but u shld see mourinho. he looks like he is some outsider, well, at least to me. popping the champagne all alone. wait, he didnt exactly pop it, but just uncorked it and drank from it. all the while being at the side, behaving as if he didnt belong to the team while the rest of them posed for a grp photo with e trophy. does the medal mean nothing to him? he gave it away to the crowd and when presented with a second one, he threw it away too! -.- but then again, even if he threw it in my direction, i wldnt want it. it matters more abt who won it and threw it. ha. and the first thought that came to mind when rooney fell and was stretchered off was world cup. yay! im no england fan. :) but it still matters after all as he's a red devil.
and i discovered much more than myself in a way. eg, if i dont sleep enough or forced myself to wake up when i wished tt im still in bed, my single eyelids will become double! which is real terrible.. not sure how u double eyelid-ed pple feel but i felt like i have extra layers of skin on my eyelids and it felt quite heavy and like i cant open my eyes unless i put in more effort.. but i do agree tt it does make ur eyes look bigger (cuz i compared it with my left which hardly gets a double). i still like the way i m with my single eyelids :) my prof did mention about it during class.. single eyelided pple are more well-adapted to beaches and perhaps deserts as their eyelashes will tend to be more dropey and protects the eyes from e flying sand and dust. for double eyelided, the eyelashes point upwards and thus, enhances the size of a person's eyes.. next, i learnt that caffeine can make one's heart to beat faster and pump harder. when i was lying on my bed and reading my notes after a few gulps of nescafe mocha, i saw my hair moving in unison with my heartbeat. wow. im not kidding. plus, i can survive a night without caffeine but i cant survive one even after drinking lots of it.. i guess itz all in e mind n one's determination..
one last thing. i dont like pizzahut. their quality have dropped drastically that even their promotional offers fail to make up for it. their recent splitzza has part of their meat tasting as though they used e same type of chicken drumlet marinate for the chicken and cant be bothered to invent a new sauce which leads me to wonder if they used the leftovers. oops. the worst of all: my long time fave garlic bread has become stuffed with chucks of butter between slices of lukewarm bread. im serious! i wldnt have thought tt it was garlic bread as the dominant butter taste masked the taste of garlic and herbs. and the butter chuck was still in the process of melting so u had to spread the butter out so tt it wld absorb e heat and melt which is bad. u know, u have to spread it on both sides. nvr again bring me to pizzahut.
wondered why birds love freshly trimmed grass? cuz itz shorter and they can find their worms better without banging into some long blade now and then.. ttz what i think :)
a long break to go! what to do? mm, actually i did make up a long list of to do stuff but i doubt tt i ll make it through all of it :P it ll be a challenge though, with one of them being cleaning up the huge mess in my room which was started years ago and has been gaining size over the years, accelerating during the sch period :P
looking fwd to my appt with the doc(s) and nurses on monday in a way :) i hope i get my fave doc or a nice doc who will be gentle enough to not scare my easily frightened eyes.
time for a short nap.. felt like im a walking concussion sometimes esp after exams.. so wanted to get my sis to keep quiet yest afternoon when i was trying very hard to drift off to sleep and whenever im abt to enter the gates leading to lalaland, i will hear a distant voice calling out "zjieeee.. rooney blah blah blah" and i have to respond to it and start all over again.. twice! grr.
