ha. nice appt. not. ok lah. it wasnt tt bad. i just hate waiting!!! though i had a picture story bk by jimmy liao with me. i soon got bored and bought prawn crackers from the vending machine.. itz an hour long wait! grr.

haha, then i got this doc whose chinese can make it but i think itz impt for a doc to be bilingual somehow esp if ure dealing with chinese educated elderly.. i expected him to stumble and fumble with his words but turned out ok because he sounded like he was educated overseas.. plus, the nurse attending to our cubicle was an indian! so fortunately or unfortunately, this other female doc came over to our cubicle and asked how to use e machine.. i dont know how to describe the machine but i turned out to be the specimen. -.-" ws, now i know how u feel! and they mixed up the eye which was in concern -.-" which confused me as well.. they prob think a miracle happened if they checked the left eye instead.. i think itz the nurse's mistake when she did the normal eye test and recorded it as perfect eyesight which is quite diff from the previous record or smthg..

so he asked me why im there.. i was thinking "huh? to see a doc? how i know!? e clinic asked me to go for yearly checkup!?" but i didnt say tt.. but his question was rather hard to answer though it sounded easy so i replied "for my regular checkup" cant rem what he asked but i said "angle recession" and note, the other doc was ard for the rest of my appt.. unfortunately or fortunately for her, she ended up more than just learning how to use the machine.. she was questioned on my condition, how it can be caused, how it happens and what may happen.. initially, he asked "so what is angle recession" so i went "erm, itz.." then he said hez not asking me cuz i prob know everything abt it.. so there was the silence. but i learnt a bit too.. found out tt itz abt the 3D architecture and if e angle is 90 degrees, one still has 270 degrees which is my situation.. ohhhhhh. glucoma was the only cheem cheem term i understood besides some other names he mentioned.. poor doc said she ll go read her anatomy txtbk.. but the doc who was examining my eye wasnt tt mean to her or what.. in fact he was quite encouraging, telling her like itz becuz he had a few yrs of experience alr and she needs to think harder as she has alr learnt all e stuff.. with his guidance, she managed to deduce what angle recession is..

and i managed to lose my way ard the area even with very obvious signs guiding me ard.. -.-" so in e end i decided to retrace my steps instead.. i accidentally found tt there is an acupuncture centre there :) haha, i suddenly thought of what tze said long ago abt eye candy at snec (correct?) and i thought isnt it such a waste then since most of the patients are more or less having problems with their eyes so they cant really appreciate such works of art? but ok, maybe it ll help stimulate a speedy recovery.. lol..

i kind of realised how impt it is not to cheat at eye test. u see, in pri sch, a test means u must pass it.. so most of us tried to cheat whenever the sch health svc nurses visit our sch.. we ll try to memorise the little letters at the bottom so tt we ll get a 6/6.. hehe.. so tt means tt when we are really myopic, we wont get spotted.. plus, when u dont get a 6/6, the nurse will prob start nagging and blah which we all dont want it to happen. :) all the more we are motivated to pass with flying colors..

the weekend was tiring and itz hard to believe tt exams ended on thurs! but anw, though it was tiring, it was very FUN! all the little grandjuniors are so adorable! haha! yup, managed to get to interact with them during the atlantis recce/trial run.. shldnt reveal too much till itz over.. somehow participants if theyre smart enough, may find out abt blogs through various links on other blogs and find out abt the checkpts.. did a lot of stupid things which one shld do before u get even older! haha.. although we are only 2 yrs older than theyre, itz like there is a generation gap and the age thing! lol.. then we visited e chalet on sunday afternoon and itz nice just seeing everyone.. :)

things to do: clearing of room, watching tv! plus, reading up :)
